We all show up and hold space differently. And it comes as no surprise to me that many of the by_a.thread participants have spent the past week and this weekend showing up for our communities of color here in our Twin Cities. Cleaning up Lake Street, marching in peaceful protests, donating supplies and opening their wallets. Staying off the streets at curfew. And even, simply, showing up to their jobs in the ER and at the grocery store, because what they do matters. And it is Essential.
It's Essential that we all show up for the Communities of Color in our Twin Cities and throughout our nation. White silence is violence.
